Invitation for ‘Maiden’ Campus Placement of MBA Batch 2008- 2010
Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) invites interested companies for campus placement of the first batch of MBA scholars trained in Petroleum & Energy Management. The attached MBA Placement Brochure (can be downloaded) provides all relevant information about MBA programme in Petroleum and Energy Management, its uniqueness, the course details, students profile and their achievements.
The MBA students of RGIPT have undergone an extensive programme on the basic management subjects along with specific orientation towards petroleum related courses as follows:
1. Introduction to Oil & Gas Industry
2. Policy Perspective of Oil and Gas Industry
3. Refinery Technology and Economics
4. Laws relating to Energy Business
5. Fundamentals of Petroleum Exploration
6. Natural Gas Business
7. International Trading in Oil and Gas and Price Risk Management
8. Alternate and Non-conventional Energy Sources
9. Supply Chain Management in Petroleum Industry
10. Petroleum Retailing
The above courses have been handled by proficient faculty from academic and industry, including ex-C&MD of Oil PSU and ex-ED ONGC and Head of KDMIPE, Dehradun, as highlighted in Placement Brochure. With their domain knowledge of the sector gained at RGIPT and through summer projects in Industry, the first batch of MBA would satisfy the expectation of petroleum and energy companies.
